Case IH has announced a series of changes to its dealer network in Staffordshire, including updated territory allocations.

These changes are aimed at strengthening customer support and ensuring long-term continuity of service across a key region.

The company released a statement outlining the dealers that have had their territories changed.

It said: "Effective from July 1 2026, G. & S.J. Johnson Ltd has taken the decision to scale back its business operations and will relinquish the Case IH franchise.

"Following this change, the territory previously served by Johnsons will be integrated into the surrounding Case IH dealer network, with three established dealers expanding their coverage areas."

The updated territory allocations are as follows:

  • Pontesbury Tractors Ltd will expand to cover the west of Stafford, including Market Drayton.
  • Startin Tractors Ltd will extend its area to include the east of Stafford, Stoke‑on‑Trent, and north into Derbyshire.
  • Lloyd Ltd will assume responsibility for the north‑west section of the territory, operating from its Holmes Chapel depot.

This expansion builds on the foundations already established by the dealers within their existing territories.

According to Case IH: "The enhanced coverage ensures that Case IH customers will continue to receive reliable access to sales, service, and technical support across the region."

Case IH commercial business unit director for UK and Ireland, David Rapkins thanked the team at G. & S.J. Johnson Ltd.

He said: “We would like to thank Gary, Susan, Les and all the team at Johnsons for their dedication and support for the Case IH brand over many years, and we wish them well in their future endeavours.”

Rapkins also spoke of the updated territory allocations, saying: “This change represents an important expansion for the three surrounding dealers, who are committed to delivering outstanding support to our Case IH customers."

Earlier this year, Pontesbury Tractors Ltd took home two awards from the Case IH Dealer of the Year awards.

It was the category winner in both Precision Farming Dealer of the Year and Customer Experience Dealer of the Year.

Lloyd Ltd became a dual-brand dealer at its Carlisle and Penrith depots in January 2026, taking on the Case IH brand on top of their existing relationship with New Holland.

In February, Lloyd Ltd expanded its coverage from the Cumbrian region to cover North, South and West Lancashire, as well as Cheshire.
