Ever wondered what it’s like to farm across Australia? This video can give you an idea of what it’s like.
Oversized wheels, tractors and loads feature heavily in the video and given the sheer size of the fields they’re definitely needed!
Recorded on a helicopter the video, ploughing, sowing and harvesting all feature in the Aussie video.
There’s a range of machinery on show in the video, including John Deere, Claas, Massey Ferguson and New Holland.
Keeping with oversized loads, a livestock truck with three carriages and a ‘road train’ also feature in the video.
There’s no stone walls in this video and fields stretch for acres. Also if you’re a fan of kangaroos and going to the beach, they also feature in the video.
It’s created by the Tammo brothers Jörn and Tammo Glaser of Landtechnik Videos. They travelled to Australia three times between 2012 and 2013.
They have three DVDs of ‘Agriculture in Australia’ after they visited the continent in different regions and seasons and covered nearly 15,000km by car, according to their website.
The brothers state that they’ve always been interested in agricultural machinery and started off Landtechink Videos in 2002. For the past 15 years they’ve documented the work of modern farm equipment in many countries around the world.
