The Veterinary Products Committee (VPC) is looking to appoint seven new members across multiple specialist areas.
Each member receives £148 for every meeting attended and an additional £76 for preparation time.
The committee is looking for the following roles to be filled:
- SQP (large animal);
- Veterinary surgeon (equine);
- Veterinary surgeon (poultry);
- Molecular biologist/geneticist;
- Parasitologist (food and animal species);
- Risk analyst;
- Physician.
There are three scheduled VPC meetings a year usually in February, May and October. However, it may be necessary to hold occasional ad-hoc meetings.
These meetings are held at the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) offices in Addlestone, Surrey, or online.
The closing date for applications is noon on November 17.
