Rain and thunderstorm weather warnings have been put in place across the UK this weekend.
The Met Office has warned flooding could be likely in homes and businesses across Scotland as a from midnight onwards on Thursday, August 8 in North East Scotland.
Similar warnings are in place from 11:00am to 10:00pm for the rest of Scotland (from south of Aberdeen to Dumfries).
The unsettled weather will continue into this weekend as a low-pressure system sits above the UK.
It will be windy on Saturday with the strongest winds along southern coasts.
A separate yellow weather warning is in place across most of Scotland and England and all of Wales and Northern Ireland on Friday (August 9).
Forecasters warn fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible expecting as much as 30mm in some parts in just a few hours.
The Met Office warns there is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.

Motorists have been urged to take care as spray and flooding are likely to lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
