Single Farm Payment application forms have been issued and farmers who haven’t received their Single Farm Payment application form in the next day or so should contact the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
Single Farm Payment maps were issued to all herdowners who submitted land last year (approximately 131,000) in early March, while the last batch of these was issued mid-way through March.
However, farmers did not receive their application forms with the maps. Application forms were issued by the Department of Agriculture from March 21 to approximately 135,000 herdowners. The last of these were sent last Friday, April 4, to herdowners.
According to the Department, all herdowners should have their pre-printed form within the next few working days. Lost or misplaced application forms can be re-issued to those who request one. This can be done by emailing [email protected], or by ringing 057-8674400. Alternatively, herdowners can request one in writing from the SPS Co-Ordination Unit, Government Buildings, Old Abbeyleix Road, Co Laois.
