The Scottish National Fat Stock Club has raised £1,990 for the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RSABI) through its annual LiveScot event.
The event took place in November 2023 at the Lanark Agricultural Centre.
Head of fundraising for RSABI, Pauline Macmillan, recently met with the chair of the Scottish National Fat Stock Club, Brian Harper, to hand over the donation cheque.
Harper of the Scottish National Fat Stock Club said: “We would like to thank everyone for their continued support of LiveScot and for their generous donations.
“We’re proud to support a charity that is making such a valuable contribution to the farming community.”
Macmillan extended her thanks to the club: “We’re very grateful to the Scottish National Fat Stock Club for once again choosing to support RSABI with their fundraising efforts at LiveScot and to all those who turned out to support the event.
“We’d also like to thank the Scottish National Fat Stock Club for their continued support of RSABI as members of our Business Supporters’ Scheme. Our Supporters’ Schemes are a vital source of regular income for RSABI.”
Founded in 1897, the RSABI provides financial and practical support to farmers and their families in the Scottish agriculture industry.
