Massey Ferguson is set to unveil a range of new machinery, including tractors and telehandlers, at the LAMMA agricultural machinery show in the UK this January.
The machinery on show will include Massey Ferguson’s smaller-to-medium horsepower range, the MF 5700 Global Series.
The MF 5710 and MF 5711 represent the mid-range models offered by Massey Ferguson, with a total of 100 horsepower and 110 horsepower, respectively.
These tractors have been designed to perform a wide range of operations including loader, field and transport work.
With a range of feature normally only found on larger tractors, the MF 5700 specifications include a turbo charger, AdBlue injection in a patented all-in-one system and a creeper gearbox option.
This series of tractors also has a power shuttle, with both power and comfort control, an easy shift control button on the gear lever and a 4.3t lift capacity.
Meanwhile, the new MF 5713 SL tractor will also be on display at the LAMMA show, this 130 horsepower, four-cylinder tractor also comes with a turbocharger and AdBlue injection.
It provides automatic engine braking by means of fan engagement, while the design incorporates the distinctive steep-nose bonnet, according to Massey Ferguson.
A lift capacity of 5.2t, front axle suspension and the option of AutoGuide are just three of more advanced features of these tractors.
As well as these tractors, the world’s first 200 horsepower, four-cylinder tractor in the shape of the MF 6718 S model will be on display.
The MF 6718 S has a 2.67m wheelbase and a turning radius of just 4.75m which makes it the most manoeuvrable 200 horsepower tractor, according to Massey Ferguson.
Meanwhile, the new TH range of telehandlers will also be part of the stand at the UK show.
The TH range includes four models with an engine power option of either 100 horsepower or 130 horsepower, with a lift capacity of between 3t and 3.8t.
Massey Ferguson realises these are challenging times for the agriculture and the machinery industry, the manufacturers National Sales Manager for Ireland and the UK, William Judge, said.
The LAMMA show is a great way for us to showcase our latest ‘full-line’ machinery offering.
“But, more importantly, it provides the opportunity for us to spend more time with current – and potentially future – customers in a welcoming environment on the Massey Ferguson stand,” he said.
