A McHale demonstration day is being run by  J.H. Fitzpatrick Ltd, an agri machinery firm based in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare, today (Friday, June 30).
The event is located one mile out from Monasterevin on the old Limerick Road, and is running from 11:00am to 4:00pm. There is a series of demonstrations – with mowing, baling, wrapping and stacking displays taking place; the full range of McHale machinery is also present at the event.
This is the first demo day of its kind for the company. It is hoped the day will allow “all farming professionals in the region to learn about the latest products,” the firm said.
There are live machinery demos, baling trials and free-to-attend workshops – to provide attendees with a hands-on experience.
In addition, the firm is also staging working demonstrations – to showcase the latest offerings from Case IH.
Gary Oxley, of J.H. Fitzpatrick, said: “We have all of the McHale range on show: front and back mowers; balers; wrappers; the McHale Fusion 3 Plus; and a fleet of Case IH tractors too.
We have a range of Case IH tractors here – such as a Maxxum 135, a Puma 150 and an Optum 300 – carrying out demonstrations.
“We are running segments on the hour, every hour – demonstrating changes in the machines over time. We are showing people how to set mowers; we are covering every aspect of the machines in our workshops,” Oxley added.
Everyone is welcome to come along. Anyone with an interest in machinery is more than welcome to drop by and see everything in operation.
