Micheal Doyle Auctions will host a clearance sale of farm machinery and equipment this Saturday (October 28).
The auction – which will take place in Tankardstown, Tullow, Co. Carlow – will kick off at 11:00am. There will be approximately 150 lots for sale on the day, though this number could increase.
Some of the confirmed lots include: a 12ft X 6ft Ifor Williams trailer with decks; a number of tractors; a roller; a tanker; a round baler; fertiliser spreader, two Ifor Williams 8ft X 5ft trailers (one with decks); and builders’ trailers.
Other items on offer will include: a tractor loader; a topper; feeders; a slurry pump; a calving jack; a shear grab; a water heater; power washers; chain saws; diet feeders; ploughs; a harrow; new sheets of galvanising; a 12ft X 6ft Westwood livestock trailer; and a PZ hay bob.
Commenting on the upcoming auction, Doyle said: “This is a genuine clearance sale. Three local farmers are clearing equipment; there is a mix of tillage implements, trailers, and things for dairy men too.
There’ll be something for all types of farmers, with low reserves.
“The small tools will be going first, such as welders, workshop tools and so on. Some of the bigger lots include items such as a nice 20ft twin-axle Broughan trailer; a 15ft X 8ft Graham trailer will also be on auction,” Doyle added.
There will be a wide range of tools and equipment going under the hammer, according to Doyle, including items such as cattle troughs and feed barriers.
The lots are “clean, genuine items”, Doyle assured, adding that there will be something for everyone.
