Italian company VF Venieri – a brand that is known to many agricultural contractors around Ireland – has plenty to shout about at this year’s Agritechnica show.
Out at the event in Hanover, Germany, a new pivot-steer (articulated) telescopic handler is Venieri’s big attraction.
The new machine is known as the 8.63TL. It can lift 3.2t to a height of over 5.2m. Muscle is provided by a 136hp, 3.62L, four-cylinder Deutz engine.
This engine is mated to Venieri’s electronic powershift transmission; it has six forward and three reverse (automatically-shifted) speeds.
The rear axle can oscillate (pivot) by up to 18°. There is a self-locking, limited-slip differential on the front axle (optional on the rear).
460/70 R24 tyres are standard; 500/70 R24s are optional. Industrial buyers can opt for 405/70 24s.
The hydraulic system can muster a maximum flow-rate of 140L/min; maximum operating pressure is 250 bar.
The machine is 2.71m tall (to the top of the cab). Its wheelbase spans 2.55m. The machine’s maximum operating weight is 8.2t.
Venieri is also exhibiting its recently-launched 1.63C compact wheel loader (below) at Agritechnica. This machine weighs just 3.1t; it’s powered by a 48hp engine.
Maximum bucket capacity is 0.8m³; maximum tipping load is a creditable 2.3t. Despite its diminutive dimensions, it can muster a top whack of 40kph on the road.
Venieri’s main Irish distributor is McCarthy Plant and Agri Sales, based close to Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork.
Venieri is just one of many loading shovel and telehandler manufacturers showing their wares at this year’s Agritechnica show.
