Police in Northumbria have recovered a tractor trailer which had fallen on and blocked a road in Hexham, Northumberland.
Police were called to the scene at 2:20p.m on June 14 and they closed the road while the recovery of the trailer took place.
No injuries were reported from the accident and the road was reopened a short time afterwards.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said:
Just before 2.20pm on Tuesday police received a report a tractor with a trailer had fallen on to its side while travelling near Bridge End, Hexham.
“Officers attended the scene and the road was closed at the Anick junction while the vehicle was uplifted.
“No one sustained any injuries during the incident.”
Meanwhile, police in Northern Ireland are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision that took place in Magherafelt on June 7.
The collision involved a red Massey Ferguson tractor and a black Triumph Daytona motorbike.
The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 40s, was brought to hospital but died shortly afterwards from his injuries.
Sergeant Amanda McIvor has appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision, including another motorcyclist seen in the area at the time, or who has dash-cam footage which could assist officers with their enquiries, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1977 07/06/22.
