The National Sheep Association (NSA) Central Region is inviting members to come for a tour of British Wool’s head office and Haworth Scouring Planton.
The tour will take place on January 10, 2023, and will include an introduction to British Wool and access to a live auction of wool.
A tour of the Bradford Grading Depot will be followed by lunch, a presentation on marketing activity and a full tour of the Haworth Scouring and combing plant.
The NSA warned that the places on the tour will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis as numbers are limited.
More information on how to book a place on the association’s tour can be found on the NSA website.

Elected board members serve for three-year terms, and British Wool is now inviting nominations for board members to represent the English Southern, Welsh Northern and Scottish Southern regions.
The term of office for each of these positions will commence April 1, 2023.
