Pottinger has introduced two new Torro COMBILINE silage wagons – the 7010 and 8010 models.
The Torro 7010 has a maximum DIN loading volume of 40m³. For the 8010, it’s 43m³.
Like all Torro COMBILINE models, the 7010 and 8010 are available with an optional 4t drawbar. Pottinger says that a higher drawbar load provides better traction in the field. It also enables a heavier load to be transported.
The wagons also have a new ‘side control’ concept. The side-mounted control panel, with its CAN-BUS operating system, offers a “good overview” of functions such as the knife-bank, AUTOCUT, scraper floor and – as an additional feature – easier hitching and unhitching of the wagon to or from the tractor.
New Torro COMBILINE wagons can be equipped with an optional driver-assist system (intelligent trailed axles) which, in addition to integrated sensors for driving speed and direction, also has a steering angle sensor.
The driver-assist system is only available on machines equipped with the POWER CONTROL terminal and ‘load sensing’.
On-the-move weighing
A new weighing system allows ‘dynamic weight’ display (showing an approximate ‘net load’ value) while driving. Moreover, a maximum allowable wagon ‘load’ can be preset and displayed.
The display turns red and a warning signal sounds if this weight is exceeded.
The system is operated using a POWER CONTROL terminal. New 32-bit hardware enables it to be used without ISOBUS.
