Those who attend LAMMA 2023, the UK’s leading agricultural machinery, equipment and services show, will be able to see machinery and farm equipment in live demos, event organisers have said.

The event, which will take place on January 10 and 11, 2023, at the NEC in Birmingham, will launch its first ever ‘Demo Arena’, which will see a line-up of tractors, bale-handling equipment and fully-electric ATVs demos.

Nichola Bell, head of events for Agriconnect, said: “The Demo Arena is an exciting first for LAMMA.

“It’s really exciting to be able to provide a platform for manufacturers to demonstrate new and innovative machinery at LAMMA

“Visitors will be able to see the machines in action and get insight into the latest advances in agricultural machinery direct from the experts.

“We have five manufacturers taking part – Krone, Valtra, McHale, EcoCharger and Solis Tractors – showing their kit in action over the two days.

“The lineup includes tractors, bale handling equipment and ATVs which visitors will be able to see as well as hear about upcoming innovations and hopefully learn something new.”

Event organisers said the demonstrations will run across both days of the show in the arena Hall 18.

McHale

Amongst the exhibitors taking part is farm machinery firm McHale, which will showcase its new V6760 Fully Automatic Variable Chamber Baler.

UK sales manager for McHale, Kieran Hughes, said that user-friendliness was at the forefront of the machine’s conception and development.

“The McHale V6760 is the highest-spec machine in the V6 range,” he said.

“It is a fully automatic machine that is OSOBUS compatible with the option of using McHale’s ISO-PLAY 7 or ISO-PLAY 12 terminals, to allow the operator experience the highest level of customisation and machine performance.”

“EasyWrap 150 can be operated in automatic, semi-automatic and manual modes depending on driver preference and working conditions.

McKeever said it is capable of wrapping bales from 1 metre to 1.5 metres in height with a maximum bale weight of 1,600kg.
