Big plans are under way at Failte Ireland to develop and market Ireland’s reputation for food tourism both domestically and internationally.
Food tourism is a growing market segment internationally and one in which Ireland is well placed to capitalise on. As a result of this potential, Failte Ireland has requested proposals from companies for the provision of services in relation to the development of Ireland’s reputation for food and food tourism both domestically and internationally.
“We are looking for a company to work with Failte Ireland in the development of a unifying phrase or theme that we can use to build the reputation for food tourism in Ireland,” it stated in its tender.
The tender, with a deadline of 29 July, is for advertising and marketing services, public relations services and public relations management services. A copy of the tender is available here.
