The Global Dairy Trade has fallen again, for the 8th consecutive time.

At its latest auction, today (July 1) the Global Dairy Trade fell by 5.9%. At the last auction on June 16, it fell by 1.3% and today’s is the most severe drop since April 1 when it fell by over 10%.

It had been hoped at the last auction, two weeks ago, that the Global Dairy Trade might be beginning to stabilise, but today’s drop will end that speculation.

Whole milk powder was the big casualty, falling by 10.8% while butter milk powder prices fell by 8.1%.

Skim milk powder was down by 5.8% and rennet casein was down by 4.1%.
