Davidson & Robertson (D&R), the rural surveyors and consultants, has restructured its way of working to meet demands of growing sales instructions.
D&R has created a dedicated sales team including a new sales specialist.
George Hipwell D&R director and head of rural & agency said:
“We’ve seen a real increase in the number of valuations and sale instructions in recent years.
Greater demand, and continued success in public and off-market sales and purchases, gave us the opportunity to review the best way to serve our clients.
“This led us to restructure, introducing a dedicated team of sales specialists that work closely with clients’ key D&R contacts in their area.”
Sales team structure
The sales team is led by George Hipwell, head of rural & agency and he is supported by Joe Bell who recently qualified as a chartered surveyor and registered valuer.
Bell has over a decade of residential sales experience across south west Scotland and northern England where he has been central to the recent growth of D&R’s market share in Cumbria and the Lake District.
The team has been further strengthened with the appointment of Will Dalrymple who previously worked for a large agency and has been involved in numerous high-profile estate and farm sales across Scotland.
George Hipwell said: “We are delighted to welcome Will who has real understanding of client needs and a depth of experience in buying and selling property.
He is already very actively involved in a number of discrete purchasing instructions as well as public and private sales across Scotland and the north of England.
Commenting on his appointment, Will Dalrymple said:
“Davidson & Robertson is the perfect blend of scale and professionalism. Small enough to be flexible, pro-active and professional, but still able to maintain a close-knit family feel which makes the company personable and very client-focused.
“Continuity of contact is very important to clients – and that’s something we are mindful of. Clients have their local D&R contact as well as dedicated sales specialists to support them with sales and purchases.
“As a sales agent, I’ve met some very interesting people – for those who have lived on their property since birth, I have guided them as they take the decisions to sell.
For others it’s about making the best returns on investments and rural opportunities. The challenge is always to do the best you can, whether that’s selling a mansion, a snug cottage, or land with a multitude of potential uses.
Concluding, Hipwell said: “We are excited about 2021 and have some excellent instructions to publicly market properties, conclude off-market transactions and source properties for active buyers.
“Above all we have a great team, fully focused on the market and achieving results for our clients.”
