The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers (RABDF) has taken the decision to alter the format of Dairy-Tech 2021 due to ongoing Covid-19 concerns by hosting a series of online events over two weeks from February 3 to February 17.
A spokesperson for the RABDF said:
We all wish we were meeting in person next month, but at the same time we are incredibly proud to bring you Dairy-Tech Online; a two-week programme of workshops, foot trimming demonstrations, webinars, new products and online conferences.
“The programme is finalised and you can register now to join in as many of the sessions as you like, for free.
“International speakers will feature in many of the sessions due to the increased accessibility moving online brings.
“They, together with experts from the UK, will showcase content relevant for all farming systems covering the latest dairy innovations, timely policy updates as well as practical workshops – including sessions on mental health in farming and Brexit.
You can tune in from the comfort of your own home with the daily online sessions starting every day after morning milking at 10:30am as well as being available to view afterwards.
“Immaterial of what system you farm or your herd size, Dairy-Tech online is inclusive and has something for everyone.
“You can expect to find information, knowledge sharing, insight, and advice from the best in the business from the UK and worldwide,” the spokesperson concluded.
