The public’s Royal Highland Show knowledge is set to be put to the test this Friday in a family-friendly virtual quiz hosted by Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) and the Scottish Association of Young Farmers (SAYFC).
For many, the Royal Highland Show is an important annual social event so, as part of their Virtual Highland 2020 activities, QMS and SAYFC are encouraging families and friends to have pens and paper at the ready to bring some of the fun of the show into their homes.
Quizmaster Bryan Burnett, presenter on BBC Radio Scotland, and Robert Dykes, past young farmer, will host the quiz on Friday, June 19, 2020, at 7:00pm via the QMS, SAYFC and Royal Highland Show social channels.
Lesley Cameron, director of marketing and communications at QMS, said: “The quiz is a great way to put your Highland Show knowledge to the test whilst involving all the family.
With hosts Bryan and Robert bringing fun and competition into your living room, it is one not to be missed.
Penny Montgomerie, chief executive of SAYFC, said: “We are positive that Robert and Bryan will make highly entertaining hosts. We hope that our future, current and past members join in on Friday for some light-hearted fun with us.”
Participants will be encouraged to play along with the quiz and submit their answers by 9:00pm.
The winner, chosen by QMS, will receive a £100 Scotch Beef Club voucher and a pair of tickets for the Royal Highland Show 2021.
