Season four of the tv programme, Clarkson’s Farm, has just been confirmed, with the show set to premiere on May 23, 2025.
As with previous seasons, the reality television series follows English television presenter and motor journalist, Jeremy Clarkson, as he attempts to navigate the trials of farm life with no prior agricultural experience.
Previous seasons saw the amateur farmer take on unresponsive crops, conflicts with the county council, poor weather conditions, and unruly livestock, alongside help from his trusty associates.
The new series will see the return of popular stars from the show, including farm manager Kaleb Cooper, the self proclaimed “head of security”, Gerald Cooper; and the farm’s shop manager and Clarkson’s girlfriend, Dubliner, Lisa Hogan.
Season four will also include a guest appearance from Prince William, who visited the farm last week to discuss some of the current struggles facing the farming industry.
Clarkson’s Farm
Season one premiered on Amazon’s Prime Video back in June 2021 and was met with widespread acclaim from both viewers and critics alike, who praised the show for raising public awareness of the intricacies of the UK agriculture industry.
The former Top Gear host took on the additional challenge of becoming a publican in season three, when he purchased a local pub after his farm restaurant was ordered to shut by the local county council.
According to Amazon Prime, the series is shot on location on Clarkson’s farm in the Cotswolds in England, which he dubbed the ‘Diddly Squat Farm’ in a humourous nod to his lack of agricultural prowess.
Clarkson reportedly bought the 400ha tillage farm in 2008, which was run by an agricultural contractor up until his retirement in 2019, at which point Clarkson decided to take on the challenge of farming for himself.
The latest announcement was made across the show’s official social media channels with series five already in production, Amazon Prime confirmed.
