The renowned British Pig & Poultry Fair forums will be appearing online for the first time on May 12, 2021.
The technical forums are the highlight of the biennial Pig & Poultry Fair, providing producers with the chance to hear the latest thinking and expert opinion to help with planning ahead for their businesses.
Alice Bell, the event organiser, said:
The fair is known as the place to find ideas and while we can’t meet in person we will be bringing a line up of top speakers and leading advice to your screens, at home on May 12.
Partnered by ABN, the programme for the day will include the popular pig, poultry meat and egg outlooks, plus a number of technical sessions including pig sector experts, all of which will be free to attend live via the fair website.
“The fair is a hugely important event for the industry and we are delighted to be partnering the Online Fair Forums in 2021,” said Danny Johnson, ABN Commercial Director.
“At ABN we are committed to helping producers improve performance on farm and that is exactly what these forums will be offering in 2021.”
The next live edition of the fair is set to take place on May 10 and May 11, 2022, following the cancellation of the 2020 fair due to Covid.
The Royal Agricultural Society of England have organised this virtual event to support the industry and provide a chance for producers and the wider sector to come together virtually in 2021.
