Farmers and contractors are regular attendees at Hennessy Auctioneers’ monthly machinery auction; it’s typically held on the second-last Saturday of each month at Portlaoise Mart.
As well as their regular installments, the company also undertakes on-site auctions – typically for farm machinery clearance sales.
In this article – thanks to data from the company – we bring you a review of year-to-date prices achieved for tractors during 2017.
In a wider exercise, the company has compiled an interesting review of 240 items across a range of categories – consisting of pictures, key details and hammer prices.
For now, we’re chiefly concerned with tractors – and how much they sold for.
There is no VAT on these hammer (sale) prices, unless otherwise stated.
All (hammer) prices are subject to a ‘buyer’s premium’ of 5%, up to a maximum fee of €500 per item.
