Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society will once again host one of the country’s biggest festive events, the Christmas Fair, this year.
The fair is set to return to the Parkhouse building on the Pembrokeshire Showgrounds on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
The society has said the showground will be transformed into a ‘Christmas paradise’, with a wide variety of local businesses exhibiting as well as festive music, Santa’s Grotto and a food court.
Judith Roach and Emma Thomas, the event organisers, said: “We are excited to be able to once again hold our Christmas Fair and build on the success of last year’s event.
“It will be the perfect start to the festive season as the Parkhouse building will be transformed into a one-stop-shop for those preparing for Christmas.”
The organisers said that the event will feature some of the country’s best food and drink producers and there will be “something to tantalise everyone’s tastebuds”.
The fair will be open from 10:00a.m until 4:00p.m and admission is free.
Visitors will find unique gifts, handmade Christmas decorations, art and homeware, as well as a variety of local food and drink.
There will also be stalls for jewellery and clothing.
As special guest Santa Clause will be in attendance, children are invited to bring along their Christmas letters to give to him in person.
New stallholders
The Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society introduced two new stallholders for the event on Twitter on Thursday (November 3).
The Crayon Bug
Introducing the Crayon Bug, the society said: “We are very excited to welcome some new stallholders to the Christmas Fair this year including the Crayon Bug.
“The Crayon Bug is founded by mum of two, Rebs, who uses her art degree background to create truly beautiful crayon sets, which delight children and grown-ups alike.”
Cwtch Candles
The society also introduced Cwtch Candles, saying: “We are pleased to welcome Cwtch Candles to our Christmas Fair next month.
“Cwtch Candles offer a whole range of home aromas with a vast amount of scents. They truly do have something for everyone.
“Whether it’s a treat for you or a gift for someone else they have it all,” it said.
