Nicola Geering has been appointed by ADAMA as the company’s new regulatory manager for the UK and Ireland.

Geering will be working as part of ADAMA’s European regulatory team to help secure and maintain product registrations.

ADAMA’s expanding portfolio of fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and plant growth regulators will be Geering’s main area of work, with a specific focus on the UK and Ireland.

Geering’s career in the agrichemicals regulatory sector started after she graduated from the Univesity of Surrey with a degree in Biochemistry.

She initially worked for the chemicals regulator in New Zealand before returning to the UK to work in domestic and European-wide regulatory roles for Baden Aniline and Soda Factory (BASF), Agform and United Phosphorus Ltd (UPL).

Nicola joins ADAMA from UPL where she worked as a regulatory manager for the UK and Ireland.

The managing director of ADAMA, Ben Miles, approved of Geering’s appointment to the position.

“Nicola will provide important technical support for our UK and Ireland business and will play an integral part in securing the registration of our pipeline of new producers, which are being designed and developed to ensure tomorrow’s farmers have the tools they need to produce healthy and profitable crops.”
