Zetor distributor in Ireland, McHale Plant Sales of Birdhill, has announced that its larger Forterra 150hp model will be available in Ireland from January next.
It says the machiene is Zetor’s biggest, widest, longest and most powerful tractor yet, the 4-cylinder all-wheel drive Forterra 150 puts the Czech manufacturer up there alongside the leading brands on the Irish market.
In light of this, McHale Plant Sales Director, John O’Brien said that a search is under way to appoint dealers in a number of vacant east coast counties where applications exist for tractors like the Forterra and in which Zetor has not been represented previously with a unit in this category.
Amongst the Forterra 150’s many features are front axle suspension, cab suspension and an array of latest electronic controls. Though no firm price has yet been agreed, it is expected to launch on the Irish market at an ex-VAT price of circa €65,000.
