ForFarmers’ Robotic Dairy Forum, taking place this month, is set to provide information for those “at every stage of conversion”.
The event will take place at Sandy Park Conference Centre in Exeter on Tuesday, September 24.
Technical speakers will feature at the forum and there will be opportunities for farmers to speak to manufacturers and other product and service providers.
UK robotic product manager at ForFarmers, Bas van Santen, said: “The Robotic Forum brings together experts from across the industry, as well as trade stands to view the very latest developments in the sector.

The event, which is free, will consist of five speaker sessions commencing at 10:00a.m, covering topics from foot health to genetics.
There will be chance to speak with trade stands beforehand from 9:00a.m, at lunch and again after the sessions conclude at 3:00p.m.
The technical speakers are:
- Director at Herd Health Consultancy, Nick Bell – ‘Foot health in robotic systems – thinking outside the box’;
- Director at Cow Plan Ltd, Ivor Davey – ‘Planning the best possible layout for a robotic systems’;
- Genetic services manager at Genus ABS, Liam Healy- ‘Quick gains in a robotic system from the right genetics’;
- Product manager at ForFarmers, Bruce Forshaw – ‘What your cows will be telling you about your robotic set up’;
- UK robotic product manager at ForFarmers, Bas van Santen – ‘Driving performance and efficiencies from your robots’.
