British Wool will be holding a fashion show during each day of this year’s Royal Highland Show with the aim of showcasing the “best of British wool” across a range of Scottish brands.
The Royal Highland Show, which takes place from Thursday, June 22, until Sunday, June 25, will host the ‘Flock to Fashion’ show, featuring models from agricultural backgrounds.
The models will debut the latest collections from brands like Harris Tweed Hebrides, Lochcarran of Scotland and Eribé Knitwear.
British Wool will also have a dedicated stand in the retail area at the Ingliston-based event to give attendees the opportunity to browse “locally sourced woolen products”.
Managing director of British Wool, Graham Clark, said: “The fashion show is a chance for us to highlight Britain’s rich textile heritage and the timeless appeal of British wool.
“It’s a brilliant opportunity to bring together iconic Scottish brands – from the traditional elegance of Harris Tweed to the contemporary pieces from Eribé Knitwear, as well as other British brands such as Peregrine, Glencroft and Aubin. It’s an event not to be missed.”
Clark said British Wool is thrilled to have people that have “strong links to farming” act as its models for the show.
“It infuses the show with a genuine connection to the heritage of wool and the industry, something that we aim to champion,” he said.
“We’ll also have some exclusive show offers for visitors to shop the brands and support local British farmers in the process.”

The Royal Highland Show is an annual event that aims to showcase the best of Scottish food, farming and rural life.
The four-day event features over 1,000 trade exhibitors and 2,000 livestock competitors entering into over 900 competitions each year.
It offers displays of Scottish livestock, machinery, produce, equine displays, countryside pursuits and educational workshops.
