Snow has been forecast for parts of the UK this week, the national Met Office has said.
Today (Monday, April 4) will mostly be cloudy, with rain, drizzle and mist, however it will turn colder in northern Scotland. Then tomorrow (Tuesday, April 5), some snow can be expected over the Highlands.
Elsewhere will be breezy and mild, with rain forecast for the west, northwest, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
The rain and snow across Scotland will move south from Wednesday (April 6), and Thursday and Friday (April 7 and 8) may see some snow showers in the north.

A flood warning has been issued by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for Strath Oykel.
Agricultural land, from Oykel Bridge to Inveroykel Bailey Bridge and at Invercassley, is at risk of flooding, the agency said.
According to the Met Office, Scotland, as well as Northern Ireland, recorded the sunniest March on record – and records date as far back as 1919. The UK overall, had its sunniest March since 1929.
“The record-breaking sunshine figures were largely brought on by a very large area of high pressure that sat over the UK for much of the month, at times also covering much of Europe. This brought clear skies, mild days, but also some cool nights and some frosts,” said Dr. Mark McCarthy of the National Climate Information Centre.
