The Agrifac WKM 9000 beet harvester owned by Cross Agricultural Engineering in Rathangan, Co. Kildare, is for sale on DoneDeal.
Judging by the large crowds that turned out to see it at a recent event there will be significant interest in this machine.
This self-propelled beet harvester is 17 years old and has been profiled on AgriLand before. The machine was on demo at the beginning of October at Cross Agricultural Engineering’s open day.

The machine can hold 9t of beet; unloading height is up to 3.9m. The harvester can travel at up to 10kph in the field and 25kph on the road.
The head has been fully re-conditioned. The machine is equipped with automatic steering.
The harvester also auto-levels, has automatic depth control and a host of other driver aids. The 300hp machine is powered by a Deutz 11.9L, V6 BF6 M1015 engine.
